From early childhood, I have loved to draw. My retirement from the practice of law gave me time to return to pencils, charcoal and paper and, for the first time, to experiment with painting and other media.

I have always been attracted to the play of light on faces, hands and figures. Drawing can capture that, often in the freshest form. But painting and print-making have offered me wonderful new opportunities to explore light, color, and expression.
